When walking around the island, it's common to see people spending time with their families by the sea, on the beach, or in their yards. In these southern islands, the concept of 'family' encompasses not only parents and siblings but extends to relatives as well.

Fishing, tending to fields, and raising children are activities involving the entire extended family. It's customary for everyone to pitch in, whether it's at sea or on land, supporting each other in daily life.
